Welcome to Club Rewire!
We host pop up events where mental health education is accessible, cool & connected.
Think psychology class, but more fun.
We’re Elise and Sandra.
The co-founders of Club Rewire.

Elise has studied positive psychology, neuroscience and goal setting under various therapists and neuroscientists. She holds a BFA from Butler University & a minor in Strategic Communications. As a professional ballet dancer she experienced the effectiveness of basic psychoeducation on performance and is passionate about sharing this knowledge in a fun and accessible way with others.

Sandra studied Psychology and Behavioral Therapy at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is passionate about understanding behavior and sharing ways we can rewire our habits and actions to create positive change. As an analyst and people manager in the tech space, she has learned best practices for communication with people and on teams, and wants to help create a positive environment for people in the workspace. She has a passion for sharing these best practices in the personal space as well, and this drives her passion to share wellness knowledge in a space that is connected and accessible.
“We have had various personal experiences that taught us the value of psychoeducation to mental health.”
Club Rewire was started as a way to learn about neuroscience & psychology in social settings. This is something we found nowhere else - lectures by the pool, neuroscience tips while doing graffiti art, anxiety happy hours in a speakeasy bar… events that were fun, but led by therapists & experts in the field sharing actionable knowledge.
Our casual approach to discussing mental health in fun, unique settings is not because we view it as a casual topic - actually, the opposite…
It’s because we believe it is so critical for people to understand the science behind how our brains work and dynamic events are the catalyst for how our generation socializes and interacts. One of the largest barriers to psychoeducation is that it is often framed as boring, lonely and expensive and our mission is to shift that mindset with Club Rewire.

Every event is held at a unique location and is based around an expert guest speaker in their field. Attendees leave the event having walked through active ways to integrate the knowledge they just received into their lives. Each event includes a social happy hour to connect & engage with other attendees. Some events are paired with a guided activity to further cement takeaways from the speaker.
What is the difference between your three event structures?
Happy Hours - Attendees mingle and listen to a licensed therapist or psychologist speak while having a drink or making a friend at a unique location.
Activity Events - Attendees listen to a licensed therapist or psychologist speak on a curated topic followed by a relevant & guided activity (such as resin art, workout class, or flower arranging) to further cement takeaways from the talk.
Workshops - More intimate events led by founders to dive deep into therapist recommended activities and conversations about previously discussed event topics
